Kathy's bike is a mint 1998 Heritage Softail. It is one beautiful ride and hopefully this trike will reflect her love of his bike. It is obvious just looking at it that it is her baby. She's a beauty!! I hope we can add to her, by making her a trike, and give her many years of fun riding to come.

But now its time to take her apart and get her ready for the new additions.

With the rear swing arm off and the rear wheel it is time to fit the Frankenstien rear swing arm it its place.

Their kit fits like a glove and they are great people to work with. This being the second kit we have installed I must say that I am impressed with their workmanship and their help when needed. The are great to deal with and that is a real pleasure these days.

Time to take the rear end apart and install the rear pully. Because thier kit is set up for 2000 and newer pulley it requires the older type to be machined a bit larger in the center. So its off to the old trusty lathe to whittle it out.

Got the rear end assembeld again and now for the fun part...slipping in the beautiful aluminium rear end. Still things to do...the rear fenders are off to Zeke to paint to match the bike and the Springer needs to be raked out to make sure it has smooth and easy steering.

A few hours to go yet..but she is taking on her new look very well so far ....ha ha.
